The Hawks and Falcons we keep for our work purposes give us so much pleasure, and there is nothing like watching the ultimate hunter going about its business.
Whether it’s a peregrine falcon dropping from the sky at almost two hundred miles an hour, or our favourite, the goshawk, twisting through a woodland as it cuts the distance down to a pheasant that has just broken cover and is flying flat out to escape the goshawk, the thrill will stay with you forever as these are sights and sounds that very few people have the privilege to experience.
If the thrill of the chase is going to be a little too much for you we can also offer a walk with the hawks just flying for the exercise. This is a nice walk on mainly flat ground and the hawks know it so well and stay with us on this walk over the Cheshire countryside for up to two hours, the main birds we use for this are Harris Hawks but we may exercise the goshawks and other birds too.
Hawking days are very much limited by the time of year, especially so the hunting days, as we have to respect the closed hunting season for pheasant, ducks and partridges. The Harris Hawks are flown pretty much all year round so we can create a hawking experience for someone at any time.
If you are interested in birds of prey and want to know more about coming out with us for a walk, please give us a call and see what we can arrange for you. Prices start at just £50 for two people to come on an exercise walk and it will be the best £50 you have spent, I guarantee you will be talking about it for weeks.
